I received a smaller version of the full size Postman Display Cubby and I absolutely LOVE it. First off, did I mention it's real wood? I am just so used to seeing everything made from particle board (*cough cough* Wal Mart *cough cough*) that I am so excited to see real wood! It's so nice and sturdy, and am not worried about it breaking at all (unlike other flimsy pieces of furniture that I have bought at stores that shall remain nameless...) Like I said, the quality is amazing, the color and distressing done to it made it so beautiful and gave it such a warm, country feeling. It makes me think of the country summer cottage that I dream of having someday.... Plus, it went perfect in my bathroom. As you can see, I put some soap, washclothes, shells, candles and bath salt (in that cute little jar), and it just looks gorgeous! A perfect display for them. I love how deep the shelves are so I can vary where each object is placed, up front, in the middle, or of course, in the back. It gives it such depth and personality. Seriously, this one piece of furniture, I think would go well anywhere. Of the many places I contemplated putting it: the kitchen for a cute display of spices in pretty jars; the office to put cute office supplies in, along with a fun way to organize bills and whatnot; etc. If I had a specific room for crafts, how adorable would it be to put little crafty things in? I love it!

First off, I am so delighted that I found across your site! What a delight! I can see it will be a daily stop for me on my Internet travels. I think that being able to find new sites recommend by others is the best way to internet shop, and Black Mountain Furniture is my first discovery by you! I absolutely love it! I like quite a few of the items that they sell, and can see it as a place to purchase both for myself at home, and also for gifts for others. EVERYTHING is very well made, being handmade, you can see that time and care are going into making each piece. Knowing that I am buying an item that is going to last for years, rather than the cheaply made “fake furniture” that is out there is a real bonus in my eyes. The item that most interests me right now is the shoe bench, it would be a great addition to our cluttered mudroom, I love it! With 4 children and their many friends, it seems that we can never see the floor of our mudroom, which is also the most used entrance to our home. This would be a welcome way to store the shoes, and still offer a nice and reliable piece of furniture. The shoe bench measures 37.5"W x 12"D x 20"T. It is available in many colors and finishes, so that is what I am trying to decide on first. The other dilemma I am having is whether I want to get this as a gift for hubby for Christmas or just simply get it now to help with my fall “organization plan”!

I love the coffee table in the prarie collection, with drawers for storage (PCCT). My husband and I are in the market for a new coffee table, so this is perfect timing. I love the selection. You can choose the perfect color and finish to compliment your personal home decor. I would choose the oak finish to match my furniture, but the distresed red would add a little color to my living room. The prices are great. It's hard to find all wood furniture in stores, and when you do, it's very expensive. The 20% discount is a great deal. I'm going to show this site to my husband.
