Turner Tags were created by Lauren Turner. She used to be a Science Teacher, but became a stay at home mom after her baby was born. One day when sifting through her old science supplies, she found some UV Detecting Beads and was inspired to use them to make a reminder of when to put sunscreen and a hat on her son. Soon other mommies began to notice and want one, and Turner Tags was born!
I love having a Turner Tag for Calvin. I am such an incredibly forgetful person ever since I've become a mom. I'm always forgetting something, it's horrible. With my Turner Tag, I have it either attached to my diaper bag or stroller, and it is an instant reminder to put some sunscreen on Calvin (and myself). Lucky for me, I keep a small bottle of sunscreen in my bag, so I at least don't forget that. Plus it's so cute to have on there anyways :) Also, with it she included an extra bead that's attached to a ribbon so I can test my sunscreen. If after I put my sunscreen on it, it still changes color in the sun, then I need a stronger sunscreen! How handy is that? Love it :) It is so important to protect your child's and I love that Lauren came up with a product to help us do that.

The Rocking Horse is both universal and great charm for any age.
This is a great product. A lot of parents easily misjudge intense the sun's rays are to tender flesh.
Case in point was a father out working on his his grill next to a mobile home, while his toddler daughter was playing with her dolls right next to him in the grass and on the concrete patio. By the time he had finished puttering about his daughter had suffered a series of sever burns from only a few hours of direct and reflected UV light.
UV is sneaky in that you do not need direct or obviously sunny days to be overwhelmed by it.
These beads can be used for many years and as a reminder to adults about avoiding too much sun!

I would definately pick the pacifier charm with blue beads - as my little guy is definately a 'suckie man' - I'm afraid I may have to pry it from his hands for his high school graduation photos if i'm not careful, but for now it's cute :)
It's always nice to have a reminder of UV awareness. My father had a cancerous mole removed when I was just little, and I can't even bring myself to imagine what would have happened if all didn't go so well. This wonderful product will hopefully make sure that less people have to worry about such dreadful things!

Great giveaway!! I love the Stork Delivery charm! It's so cute! I would attach the turner Tag to the side of my swim suit so I will always know when the uv rays are harmful for my children!
